The 3Shine Flamenco series "Soniquete" (groove) continues with an intimate, private event for Flamenco aficionados and novices alike! Only 35 (thirty-five) tickets will be sold for this event! Ticket holders will enjoy Flamenco, tapas (included in the ticket price!) and good times with friends as we enjoy the mastery of the Arte de Flamenco as performed by Ali & Luis De La Tota, twin brothers born and raised in the cradle of Flamenco, Jerez de la Fronterra, Spain.
Known as "THE FLAMENCO HEAVYS" the De La Totas have performed individually and together with the best of the best in the Spanish Flamenco realm. They are highly sought after, and travel around the world to share their keen rhythmic sense, powerful jaleos, and soul stirring lyrics.

Portland-based Flamenco dancer Mitsue “La Pura" Johnson brings her latest Flamenco experience to The Old Church Concert Hall for a one-night-only special event. On November 6th, at 8 p.m., the performance ALBA (dawn) will grace the stage at The Old Church Concert Hall in downtown Portland. It is the debut show for La Pura’s new organization, 3Shine Flamenco.
The show includes dance, song and guitar music—the three main components of the Flamenco genre. Joining La Pura are internationally recognized Spanish vocalist, Antonio De Jerez of Jerez de la Frontera; World-famous palmista and percussionist, Luis De La Tota of Jerez de la Frontera; and one of the most sought after Flamenco Guitar Virtuosos in the United States, Jose Tanaka of Japan.
Doors open at 7:00 PM. Show begins at 8:00 PM.
The Capitol will be bursting with spring activities during "Cherry Blossom Day " with Music, Japanese Falk dance, a Terry's Kimono Fashion Show, Taiko, Tea ceremony, photography contest history of the cherries in Oregon, and tastings of cherry products.
